4.8 Subpar
Formulaic but fun. The concept itself is unique, but the story hits all the usual beats so there’s not much to be surprised by. Somehow Paul Rudd is miscast, and I’m a huge fan. He wasn’t given much funny material so his character just comes across a little strange. Will Poulter steals the show along with the unicorn gore, although I would’ve like more from the latter. Not a bad performance in sight. A tad forgettable but you get what you came for which is an entertaining night out.
